Captain Erkes began his career with GPD in 2007 and has served in a variety of assignments Animal Science II Honors students at Eastern Wayne High School explored the skeletal systemthrough a hands-on, edible bone model activity. By building a physical representation of a bone, students identified and explained the roles of compact bone, spongy bone, bone marrow, blood vessels, and the periosteum, connecting structure to function in a meaningful way.
