For the third year in a row, Eastern Wayne Elementary students successfully put their reading skills to the test by winning the Wayne County Public Schools (WCPS) annual Elementary Battle of the Books competition The Goldsboro Police Department welcomes aboard Officer Michael Moncada. Officer Moncada was joined by his family at City Hall while Mayor Allen swore him into his new position. Great food and conversations while at "Coffee with A Cop" at Chick-Fil-A in Goldsboro The Goldsboro Police Department recently welcomed aboard Officer David Evans. Officer Evans, was a recipient of the City of Goldsboro Police Department Scholarship Program and attended Basic Law Enforcement Training (BLET) at Wayne Community College, graduating in December 2018.
