Experience one of the oldest road runs in North Carolina. The Run for a Child
– 40th Annual Greater Goldsboro Road Run is facilitated by the Sunrise
Kiwanis of Goldsboro. The event is a fundraiser to help support our purpose
of assisting the children and youth of our community. The funds generated
from event sponsorships and participants go toward financial support for over
20 local organizations that assist the needy children and youth of Wayne
County. This year's road run is a memorial to our fellow Sunrise Kiwanis
member and former road run director Farris Duncan.
ENTRY FEES:
5K Walk, 5K Run, 10K Run
$25.00 pre-registration/$30.00 after April 7th,
$35.00 on race day
1 Mile Fun Run
$15.00 registration/$12.00 each for
2 or more members of same immediate family
Deadline for pre-registration is April 7, 2018. Race t-shirts are provided to all
participants that pre-register and to most that register on the day of the event.
