The sermons haven't been about money, but verse 37 stuck out to me for this article: And what you sow is not the body that is to be, but a bare kernel, perhaps of wheat or of some other grain. I've often heard that if you want to see an example of faith, look at a farmer. Have you ever considered the up-front costs involved in planting a field? That's just the beginning of the many challenges farmers face before the harvest. We should also remember the sleepless nights that are created by doubt and fear while the farmer waits for the plants to grow. Even with all the stress, they still plant the seeds believing that the investment will pay off in the end. Farmers understand that they must first do their part, accepting the risks involved with planting, to have any chance of success. Investing in our future can be just as fright- ening. However, the result can also be very rewarding. Before planting, the farmer has a reasonable expectation of how much total crop each field will provide. They even call it yield like we do when discussing return on a financial investment. We do the same in financial planning. First, we analyze your situation. Then we look at the different options and create a plan to help you pursue your future goals. You only need to have the courage to plant the seed! Email me! UNC Health Wayne Supporting Seymour Johnson Home Away From Home Program As a community hospital in a military town, UNC Health Wayne is deeply committed to honoring and supporting the brave men and women who dedicate their lives to serving our nation. In alignment with this commitment, UNC Health Wayne is proud to collaborate with Seymour Johnson Air Force Base on vari- ous initiatives throughout the year. Now, UNC Health Wayne is honored by the opportunity to support a new and impactful endeavor: Sey- mour Home Away From Home. This nonprofit foundation is specifically tailored to enrich the lives of new Airmen who find themselves away from home for the first time. At the heart of the Seymour Home Away From Home is the aim to provide invaluable support to Airmen stationed at Seymour Johnson Air Force Base by integrating them into our community. Through strategic pairings with host families, these new Airmen discover a home away from home- a place where they can seek comfort and relieve themselves from the demands of military life. This initiative is especially important considering the challeng- es Airmen often face, such as the inability to return home for holidays and special occa- sions. By connecting them with caring families in Wayne County, the program seeks to bridge this gap and offer a sense of belonging during the Airmen's notable life events and their everyday experiences. UNC Health Wayne's commitment to the health and well-being of our service members and community resonates deeply with the mis- sion of Seymour Home Away From Home. As such, the hospital proudly stands behind this initiative, recognizing its profound impact on the lives of those who serve our country with unwavering dedication.
