Congratulations Dr. Freda Allen (Wayne
Early/Middle College High School) for
being named the 2024-2025 WCPS
Principal of the Year!
Goldsboro Mayor and City Council, along with
Interim City Manager Matt Livingston (not pictured), were all in
attendance recently at Faith Church's National Day of Prayer Luncheon.
The National Day of Prayer is celebrated annually on the first Thursday in May.
The day presents an opportunity for Americans of all
faiths to join in united prayer for the nation.
During Monday's meeting, May 7th, the City Council
presented a proclamation in honor of Milas Kelly, who passed
away April 7. Mr. Kelly made substantial contributions to
the community through his various roles in the public
and private sector.
