Campers will be introduced to painting Banyan Trees from Australia, creating brightly colored textiles representing the Panama/ Columbia region and constructing jungle animal masks and Rainforest birds. www.ArtsInWayne. org • 919.736.3300 July 20th 7 p.m. – 9 p.m. First Amendment Open Mic Arts Council Join First Amendment Goldsboro, LLC at the Arts Council on John Street event for their monthly Open Mic Night. Doors open at 6:30, $5 cover. www. firstamendmentgoldsboro. com July 22nd – 25th Summer Art Camp: SpecTACOlar Art In this camp, the instructor will use literacy, technology and TACOS to inspire campers to create unique images of tacos using acrylic on canvas. Campers will create one-of-a-kind art using Crayola Model Magic! ArtsInWayne.org July 26th 6 p.m. ACWC Teen Pizza & Paint Night Teenagers in grades 9-12 are invited to hang out at the Arts Council from 6-9pm every 4th Friday for pizza, soda, and friends. Students are welcome to bring an art project to work on while enjoying the company of others. This event takes place at the same time as our Community Drum Circle, and teens are welcome to join! $5 per student. Ticket includes two slices of pizza, and one soda. Art materials are not provided, and no outside food or drinks are allowed. www. ArtsInWayne.org July 27th 9:00 AM 3v3 Live Soccer Tournament Sponsored by Wayne County United Soccer Club. 3v3 Live is coming to Goldsboro and will hold a one day soccer tournament for all ages at Bryan Multi-Sports Complex at 501 S Oak Forest Rd, Goldsboro, NC 27534.
